Sri Lanka Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industries (SLCPI) made a cash donation to the Polonnaruwa Buddhist Association for their humanitarian services including the construction of a pilgrims rest house in Polonnaruwa. Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena, on behalf of the organisation, accepted the donation from Vish Govindasamy, President of the SLCPI. Several SLCPI officials also took part in the event which was held at the Ministry of Health last week.
