The Army rugby team is coached by Ben McDougall, a Australian, who performs as an assistant coach and an athlete of the London Scottish team. The Army team is also strengthened by three players from the Fijian Army. The team maintains a rugby pool of 60 players as they engage in all tournaments of different divisions conducted by the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union.
