Batticaloa St. Cecilia’s ‘EDUBITION’ an exhibition with a difference
View(s):‘EDUBITION’, an exhibition by the students of St. Cecilia’s Girls’ College, Batticaloa, organised by its School Development Society was held last week.
Thousands of visitors from various places attended the event.
The innovative approach of the exhibition that produced the items on display, enabled students to learn all the lessons on the National Curricula in an interactive and long lasting manner, inspired many visitors to the event, a spokesperson for the school said.
A significant feature of the event was that it comprised 55 different stalls with more than 800 exhibits on display, all of which differed in their spheres of relevance. The exhibition was enhanced by the entertainment provided by historical and artistically dressed characters who paraded around the area. The inclusion of classical and western performing arts impressed the audience.
