Jagath Senadheera best booster
View(s):Jagath Senadheera of Ekabadde SC, Katana was selected as the Best Booster at the final rounds of the Deyata Kirula Volleyball championships conducted by the Volleyball Federation in collaboration with the Schools Volleyball Association and the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation of Sri Lanka.
Gayan Madushanka Premaratne of Rantharu Sports Club, Debagama was chosen as the Best Spiker and the title for the Best Player went to Janith Surath of Ekabadde SC Katana.
Prizes were also distributed for the best schools team, the best beach volleyball team and the best women’s team.
Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, President of the Deyata Kirula Committee, Dilan Perera, President of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation and Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare, Director of Sports General Ranjith Jayakody were associated with these selections.

National Beach Volleyball Championships (Men) champions: Sri Lanka Air Force; runners-up Sri Lanka Navy.
National Championships (Women): 1. Sri Lanka Air Force; runners-up: Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
Amateur Champions: Sri Lanka Air Force; runners-up: Negombo SC.
Amateur Champions (Women): Sri Lanka Air Force; runners-up: Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
Junior Champions: 1. Rajasinghe MV Mawanella; runners-up: Dawsamara MV Seeduwa; 3. Maris Stella Negombo; 4. Dammissara MV Nattandiya.
Special Awards Schools: Best Booster: Sahan Dileep (Rajasinghe MV Ruwanwella); Best Spiker: Mihiranga Udaya Kumara (Dawsamara MV Seeduwa); Best Player: Ravishan Gunaratne (Rajasinghe MV Ruwanwella).
Open Championships: 1. Ekabadde SC Katana; 2. Rantharu SC Debagama; 3. United SC Nattandiya; 4. Rantharu SC Anamaduwa.
