42 National Schools sans Principals: Education Min. calls for applications
View(s):The Education Ministry has called for applications from qualified officers for the posts of Principal in national schools, including leading schools such as Ananda College and Thurstan Colleges in Colombo, Anula Vidyalaya- Nugegoda, Kingwood College- Kandy and Dharmashoka Vidyalaya- Ambalangoda.
A total of 42 vacancies have been listed for schools in the Western, Central, Southern, Uva, Sabaragamuwa, North Western and Eastern Provinces, which will be filled after the applications are processed on expiry of the closing date of July 31, 2013.
In the Western Province, the vacancies are at Ananda College- Colombo 10, Thurstan College- Colombo 7, Vivekananda College- Colombo 13, Lumbini College- Colombo 5, Anula Vidyalaya- Nugegoda, Piliyandala Madya Maha Vidyalaya (MMV), Sri Pangnananda National School- Raddoluwa, Rajakeeya Vidyalaya- Horana, C.W.W. Kannanagara MMV- Kalutara, Bulathsinhala MMV and Aluthgamveediya Muslim Balika Vidyalaya- Kalutara.
In the Central Province, the vacancies are at Kingwood College- Kandy, Alawathugoada MMV, Ankumbura Parakrama National School, Ampitiya National School, Naula Sri Nath Vidyalya and Al Manar MMV- Galhinna.
In the Southern Province, the vacancies are at Dharmashoka Vidyalaya- Ambalangoda, Sangamittha Balika Vidyalaya- Galle, Vidyaloka Vidyalaya- Galle, Karandeniya National School, Nagoda Rajakeeiya Vidyalaya- Galle, Bentota Gamini MMV, St Servatius Maha Vidyalaya- Matara and St. Thomas Balika Vidyalaya- Galle.
In the Uva Province, the vacancies are at Naula MMV, Saraswathie Tamil College- Badulla and Kataragama Janadipathi MMV.
In the Sabaragamuwa Province, the vacancies are at Mawanella Mayurapada Vidyalaya, Eheliyagoda MMV, Embilipitiya MMV and Kalawana National College.
In the North Western Province the vacancies are at S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike MMV- Kurunegala, Ibbagamuwa MMV, Saranankara MMV- Bingiriya, Kekunagolla National School and Meegalewa Mahaweli National School.
In the Eastern Province the vacancies are at D.S. Senanayaka National School- Ampara, Samanthurai MMV, Alighar Muslim MMV-Eravur and R.K.M. Koneshwarana Hindu National College- Trincomalee.
