In celebrating 50 years in showbiz the legendary Desmond de Silva is billed to perform at his first sing along after a long silence at BMICH on Sunday July 28 at 7. 00 pm. The show is presented by the “Kandy Lamissi’ Mariazelle Gunathilake and backed by Rajiv and the clan led by Rajiv Sebastian. Desmond will entertain his audience with his all time hits such as ‘Yanna Rata Watey’,’Mamma no Pappa no’, ‘Polkatu Henda’, ‘Chuda Manike’ and evergreen western medleys. Tickets are priced at 1000/= and will be available at the Kingsbury bell desk and reservations can be made by calling on 0724179696.

Desmond is also billed to perform at a dinner dance organized by the Negombo Badminton Club on July 26.
