session with the students following Film and Television studies. His visit coincided with Vimukthi Jayasundara’s Film Festival held at SLF. Mr Kashyap was listed on the DNA Power List: Top 50 influential, a list of 50 most influential Indians in 2011 and also known as the godfather of the modern generation of cinema.
SLF as the centre for leadership, education, and training offers a wide range of academic programmes in dynamic fields namely, Social and Institutional Development, Psychology and Counseling, Business and Enterprise Management, Language and ICT, Tourism & Hospitality Management and the centre for Wellbeing. The SLF was incorporated by an Act of parliament in 1973 and functions autonomously under the purview of the Presidential secretariat and is managed by a Board.
The Digital Film Academy is the first of its kind in the country which offers a wide range of programmes in the cinema and television fields. Students of the Digital Film Academy are constantly exposed to national and international cinema experts through a variety of sessions, workshops, student exchange programmes, etc.
