The sixth Inter-International Schools Chess Tournament, which is organized by Regent International College Gampaha which got under way yesterday, is set for an exciting finish today at the college auditorium.
Around 350 participants from 16 member schools registered to take part in the tournament, which saw action across the Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 17 age groups.
The tournament is exclusively sponsored by Pan Asia Bank Claude Pieris, the CEO/Director of Pan Asia Bank PLC, is scheduled to grace the closing ceremony and present the awards today.
