Qatar recently concluded successfully with an impressive number of CA Sri Lanka students working in Qatar participating in the Strategic Level examinations.
The exams was conducted in the strictest of standards under the strict supervision of a team of CA Sri Lanka examinations supervisors led by a specially appointed overseas examination supervisor, according to a CA Sri Lanka statement.
“The exams commenced in June and concluded in July. This was the first time in the institute’s five decade long history that a CA Sri Lanka exam was held outside Sri Lanka,” it said.
The institute decided to conduct the exam in Qatar as part of a pilot project and is currently mulling the possibility of conducting similar exams in other parts of the world, where a large number of CA Students are working.
Chief Executive Officer of CA Sri Lanka, Aruna Alwis said the Stafford Sri Lankan School in Qatar was very generous in providing the institute with their school hall for a period of two days free of charge to conduct the exams.
