A simple ceremony was held to felicitate the young karatekas who won 13 medals for Sri Lanka at the Asian Karate Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. All 13 athletes were members of the Southern Province karate squad. The ceremony was held at the Ratnodyaramaya Temple in Ratgama. Picture shows, the chief guest of the ceremony, U.G.D.
