Lyceum Wattala annex Alles trophy
View(s):Lyceum International School Wattala won the R.I.T. Alles Challenge Trophy when they defeated Wycherley College by a massive 134 runs in the final of the Under 19 International Schools cricket final, played at Shalika grounds recently.
Winning the toss, Wycherley put LIS Wattala into bat and paid a heavy price when their opponents posted a match winning 188 runs.
Wycherley in reply folded up for a paltry 54 runs to concede a 134-run win.
Chenaka Mallawaarachchi, captain of Lyceum College, Wattala receives the R.I.T. Challenge Trophy from Harshana Perera Deputy Headmaster of Gateway College. Looking on are Derwin Perera, Head of Sports and Sajith Liyanage Manager Sports Complex, both og Gateway College.
The tournament was organised by Gateway College, Colombo and co-sponsored by Homeland (Pvt.) Limited and Nestles’ Lanka Limited.
The following players received special awards.

Best Bowler of the Tournament. Sanjeewan Angappan of Wycherley.
Best Batsman of the tournament. Rahul Athiq of Lyceum.
Best Fielder of the tournament. Himal Attanayake of Wycherley.
