Pubudu and Maheshika dazzle at TT Fiesta

Pubudu Fernando of St. Peter’s College and Maheshika Fonseka of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya shone at the inaugural Table Tennis Fiesta, which was organised by St. Joseph’s College, Maradana and sponsored by Kotmale, at the Josephian tables recently.

Pubudu Fernando won the Under 18 singles beating his school mate Shamin Fernando, while the girls’ title was pocketed by Maheshika Fonseka, who got the better of Nayomi Divyakumar of Methodist College.

In the Under 15 age category, Madumal Harshana of Dharmapala, Panniptiya defeated Sanjul Peiris of St. Peter’s College, while Yumna Gunawardena of Methodist College won the girls’ title defeating Avindi Karunatilake also of Methodist College.
