View(s):The 18th season of the Miss Working Girl contest will be worked off shortly on a grand scale this time and those who fancy their chances of winning this prestigious title are invited to send in their applications without delay. The contest is organised by the Lions Club of District 306 C2 Thimbrigasyaya under the direction of past District Governor Soma Edirisinghe.
The Miss Working Girl pageant was launched in 1985 with the aim of raising funds for charity and this year will be no different. Proceeds from the pageant will go to provide financial aid to heart patients. The grand finale of the pageant will be on November 25 at the Galadari Hotel.
So if you’re smart and intelligent, and between the ages of 18 -28, here’s the perfect opportunity to unlock that hidden potential.
