SLIIT and UoM shine at badminton
View(s):The women from SLIIT and men from the University of Moratuwa were crowned champions at the 8th Shuttle Festival, conducted by the badminton team and Sports Division of the UoM, at Moratuwa recently.
In the women’s team event, SLIIT overcame the University of Kelaniya, while the men’s ‘A’ team of the University of Moratuwa got the better of the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT).
In the university staff event, the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology downed the University of Moratuwa ‘B’ team to emerge champions. (BM)
