Laugfs’ best young employees for 2013
View(s):Laugfs Holdings Ltd recently marked ‘International Youth Day’ on August 12 with a ‘Best of the best 2013′ staff competition carried out for the benefit of the many young employees in the company.
The ‘Best of the best 2013′ competition was organized with the intention of empowering the energetic, creative and passionate youth of the company by focusing on their professional, personal and intellectual development.
A company statement says that Laugfs employs around 3000 youth under the age of 28, and many of them serve in the crucial middle management level. All of these young men and women, who represent each and every sector of the company, were evaluated for this competition.
The best five employees are:
1) Ranjith Jayakodi, Service Engineer of Laugfs Gas PLC who studied at Metihakwala Opanayake Vidyalaya. He has a constant focus on new innovations.
2) Manoj Niranjan Liyanage, team leader – web development at Laugfs Holdings IT division. He had his education at Minuwangoda Madya Maha Vidyalaya.
3) Sandamina Yashoda Rajapaksa, Chief News Editor at Laugfs Eco Sri Pvt Ltd who has been educated at President’s College Kotte and D.S. Senanayake College Colombo. A mind full of creative ideas he has assumed a leadership role in media coordination for the company.
4) Theekshana Gamage, accountant at Laugfs Petroleum Gas Auto Lanka and Laugfs Holdings, had his education at St. Sylvester College Kandy.
5) Manoj Kularatne, Executive Business Development Officer at Laugfs Corporation Rubber and a student of Wesley College Colombo.
