A night full of dreams
The best place I like to be
Is the only thing that bothers me
In my bed, sleeping, dreaming and dreaming
Happy dreams, bad dreams surround me
Once I had a dream
O how nice it was
It was a fairy! Dancing around the starry sky
Rainbow colours flying around me
Then a bad dream came creeping
O how I screamed “Mama!”
A red dragon was chasing me all around the house
I woke up with a start,
My dreams were over now

Our world and pollution
Our world is Earth. It is also known as the Blue Planet because it is the only planet that has water. Earth is the only planet that had life.
Polluting the earth is bad for everyone. Some people put waste on the road. If the whole world gets polluted, where would we live?
Waste pollution is the most dangerous. Cutting down trees is also bad. If also pollutes but the most dangerous is that it causes damage to the environment.
Protect our world and the environment.

My school trip
Our school trip was to Ratnapura. It was a great trip. We went to see a tea factory, Saman Devalaya and a museum. In the tea factory we saw how they make tea. The name of the tea factory is Adams Tea Factory. In Saman Devalaya we saw a rock plant which was growing and a gun. It was the oldest gun. There was a museum in the Saman Devalaya. Then we went to the museum. We saw animal statues of real animals that have died. We saw the dresses of kings and their games. We saw a skeleton of an elephant and some pictures of kings and queens.
I enjoyed my trip very much.

Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. There were small dinosaurs and big ones. Some ate meat and some ate plants. The names of some dinosaurs are; Ankylosaurus, Diplodocus, Protoceratops, T-Rex, Tarbosaurus, Baryonyx etc. Some dinosaurs had spikes, some had armour and some had clubs. Parasaurolophus had a tube on top of his head that made a trumpeting noise.
I like to learn about dinosaurs.

The good and bad effects of using computers
A computer is a programmable electronic machine that can store, retrieve and process data according to a given set of instructions. The main characteristics of a computer are speed, diligence, accuracy, reliability, no feelings, no intelligence, automation and storage capacity. The basic functions of a computer are, input, output, storage and controlling of devices. The ‘Father of the Computer’ is Charles Babbage.
The good side is, now the world has become a global village. There are so many advantages of using the computer. If we take the health sector, we can get CT scanning, MRI scanning, chemical analysis and surgeries. In the educational sector we get E-learning, web based teaching and computer based teaching. If we have internet facilities, we can communicate with one another easily even in other countries. These are the good side of using computers.
The bad side is that it can cause many health issues like back pain and eye sight problems. Some people use the internet to look at unsuitable videos and pictures. School children get addicted to watching these films and it is not good for their studies. Also school children now have no time to read books and newspapers. They are on the computer all the time. Another problem is Facebook. School children get addicted to many bad things from Facebook.
So there is a good side and bad side to computers. But the computer is very important and useful to us.
