The newest frequency on the radio waves is an attempt to bring back good music and memories to an ardent radio following in Sri Lanka and around the world. In an island that boasts of many radio stations of different genres, Legends hopes to make its mark with its special brand of music spanning four decades.
The eclectic collection of hosts on the channel comes from varying backgrounds and with different stages of experience in the radio industry both locally and internationally.
“The culmination of music knowledge and a love for different genres is what makes the sound on Legends unique as well,” says Nishu Hassim, a presenter at the station. “Our guarantee is that every song we play has a memory attached to someone, somewhere.”
