Sri Lanka U-23 jolted by Nepal
View(s):Sri Lanka Under-23 cricketers were severely jolted by the touring Nepal National Emerging team before posting a close three run win in a limited over fixture at Reid Avenue recently.
Batting first the home team were dismissed for 168 runs with Sagar Pun returning the excellent figures of six for 23.
Nepal in reply made a valiant effort but were restricted to 165 for nine when they ran out of overs to concede a three run win.
The tour has been sponsored by Travelon Limited who are also the tour operators and ground handlers for the team.

Mendis and Vithanage guide SL U-23 to victory
Kusal Mendis with an unbeaten knock of 60 runs and Kithruwan Vithanage with 48 runs guided the Sri Lanka Under-23 team to a comfortable 7-wicket win over the touring Nepal National Emerging team in a limited over fixture at the NCC ground recently.
After containing the visitors to 166 for seven wickets in their quota of overs, the home team with Mendis and Vithanage showing the way, reached their target with seven wickets in hand.
