First Time in Sri Lanka – EdHat International Higher Diploma
programmes offered at IDM, opens doors to Australia
The Edhat International Higher Diploma in Computing, Software Development, Computer Networks graduates will receive 128 credit points in to the Charlse Sturt University, Australia, Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT). This will provide the students direct entry in to year 3 and will allow the students to complete their BIT with 1 year study in Australia at the university. The graduates may then continue their studies to CSU Master of Information Technology (MIT) which may be completed in 1 year. This paves a great platform for the EdHat IHD learners as they can complete CSU BIT and MIT in 2 years of study in Australia. . A significant feature of this opportunity is that two years study in Australia satisfies the Australian study requirement criteria for eligibility for the Post Study Work Visa (PSWV). PSWV is a new two year work visa recently introduced by the Australian government.

The faculty of Management of IDM Nations Campus with its Affiliations EdHat International and Bucks New University is offering International Higher Diploma programmes in Business Management, Marketing, Human Resources and Finance leading to B.A. (Hons) degrees in respective specializations. IDM, along with the Bucks New University is pleased to offer subsidies to EdHat International students whom are studying for EdHat International Higher Diploma programme in Business. The Subsidies will let the students save an approximate £10,000 (Sri Lankan Rupees Two Million) in studying for a Bachelor’s degree at the university in the UK. The subsidies provides options for students to transfer their credits to the Aylesbury College – Buckinghamshire Integrated Learning Campus at the completion of the Semester II of the EdHat IHD programme or transfer to the Buckinghamshire New University at the successful completion of the EdHat IHD in Business Management.
Internships for IDM Nations Campus Undergraduates
For all the students following the three (3) year degree programme at IDM, the programme is equipped with a compulsory internship programme. The internship is an opportunity for the students to put their knowledge & skills they’ve learnt throughout the programme to test, learn skills that will be vital to be a part of a team and gain valuable experience of being a part of a real-time functioning organization. The students will be placed on real-time assignments/ projects as interns, where this intern will provide them the opportunity for gainful employment with the respective corporate entities.
