A top lady official of a popular sports body is unhappy that she is not getting any work and that too from the boss. To counter this she 
has gone and complained to the boss of the institution where the chief of the said sports body works. The institution where the chief of the sports body works has told her that this situation has nothing to do with the company and that it was a private matter. The sports boss perturbed at this lady’s attitude has made a complaint to the Police. The Police in turn have warned her severely.
Salary increase
The Citadel is gearing for massive salary increases for 240 individuals. The higher ups are billed to have their salaries doubled! All this is happening when the sport is supposed to be in the doldrums where money is concerned. Strangely the people who are fighting for this salary increase are those who were against it during an earlier regime.
Inviting own HR manager to the function
The same sport is now gearing to have their annual awards ceremony. The association which carried out the ceremony last time is out, the reason being that they did not invite important individuals who could be an asset to the sport. The earlier association had invited their own HR Manager and others who are drawing salaries from the very same sport for the function. The grievance of this lot why invite them when there are others who could help the sport, so let’s invite them!
Private work on official laptops
At the start of the year this sports body gave Rs. 100,000 each to outstation organisations to develop the sport. When a survey was done what has been done with these funds the parent body finds that laptops have been purchased and they are being used for home use on the pretext that official work is done on these laptops. It looks as if some work is being done on these laptops even if it has nothing to do with the subject.
Panic button
There is panic amongst officials of a sports body as they have been asked to submit their sports qualifications if they are to continue in their present occupations. A whole lot of bogus certificates have been presented to prove their claims; some of them have not run 100 meters even in a bus!
Ruckus over balls
There was quite a ruckus at a sports office recently as a vice president had wanted to purchase some balls and there was a big delay in obtaining them. This irate official was heard saying that the earlier boss was much better than the present one. When this comment was made the boss was not in office. If the boss had heard this utterance there would have been hell to pay!
