The Asian Aviation Centre has been in operation for over 28 years with both a Flying School as well as an Engineering School. Year after year the school recognizes a number of students for their above average performances. Once more the Centre gathered to congratulate and wish success to many more of the youngsters who have done their best and deserved to be applauded.

AAC was fortunate to have Mr Nishantha Wickremasinghe, Chairman Sri Lankan Airlines Ltd grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman, Asian Aviation Centre Pvt (Ltd) Veteran Film Producer and International Award Winner Mr.Chandran Rutnam, Managing Director Ms.Nihara Jayatilleke , Director of Studies Air Vice Marshal (Retd) EGJP De Silva, College Founder & Consultant Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Upali Wanasinghe ,Parents, Lecturers ,AAC staff and College Students were among the gathering .

For the 17th consecutive year a batch of talented Sri Lankan students who are due to leave for Kingston University London next month to complete their degree, were awarded for their tremendous performance in their first two years of studies at AAC. It is of no doubt that these students will bring honour to AAC performing exceptionally well in their final year just as the students have done so in the past at Kinston, having gained a strong foundation from the Asian Aviation Centre Engineering Academy.

The flying school Sri Lankas Premier Centre that molds the youngsters to reach the sky high limits yet again took glory for a remarkable job done by producing some of Sri Lankas finest pilots. It was truly a tribute to see these fine tuned student pilots be awarded at the ceremony.

The College Air Craft Maintenance students have been increasingly popular not only among the National Carriers but also the International. Once again a fistful of AAC Aircraft Maintenance Engineering fully qualified students were given recognition in order to be hired by many organizations around the World.

It is an obvious fact that the graduated students’ journey to success was made worthwhile and possible by the generous and dedicated support of the lecturer panel, the academic staff and all support staff that rendered their service to the institution on a day to day basis.

Given that these youngsters have performed outstandingly well over the years, it is truly right and just to celebrate with them and to wish them all the success in their future endeavors.
