Las Vegas launch for Alston’s new release
View(s):Legendary Top 10 DJ Paul Mendez together with Danny Kors will launch Universal’s new signing in Las Vegas next weekend.
The new single ‘Beach Side’ will feature Alston Koch on vocals and it will be Alston Koch’s first international release on UNIVERSAL/Ctrl/Alt
Signed to SONY/Lifestyle last year with his album ‘Don’t Funk With Me’ peaking at No 2 on the ARIA Charts had the media billing him as ‘The Goodnews chart success story of 2012’ and with the Australian Record Industry Association giving him the title of ‘The Funk Master’.
His move from SONY to Universal was a master-minded move believed to be the deal of the decade orchestrated by Phil Israel who was following Alston’s career success in recent times. The album was No 24 in the years biggest selling album’s list throughout 2012 and earned him the title of ‘The King of Disco’ staying at No 3 in the dance charts for months just behind David Guetta and The Ministry of Sound.
Alston will be shooting a video this week in Venice Beach and Malibu (Los Angeles) for ‘BEACH SIDE’ which is the title of the song and Brazilian beauty ‘Francina’ will star alongside him. Live performances of Paul Mendez will also be shot on location in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand.
Discussions are under way for his Hollywood debut as well in a new film ‘The Praying Mantis’ where he plays a Mexican mafia villain alongside new Mexican beauty Amanda Garcia. Working with some of the world’s most beautiful women including the Sri Lankan born Jacqueline Fernandez in the film ‘According To Mathew’ has created a lot of interest in Hollywood.
Clubs across the USA will begin playing the track with the legendary PAUL MENDEZ playing the song across the Vegas strip.
Negotiations are under way for Alston to perform at the HARD ROCK HOTEL in Vegas in October along with Paul Mendez & Danny Kors in what will be the biggest outdoor extravaganza in the territory.
The song is available on iTunes and all other areas normally associated with an UNIVERSAL/Alt-Ctrl International release.
