OKI International annex Gampaha cager title
View(s):OKI International School Wattala clinched the Gampaha District Under-14 Basketball Championship after beating St. Joseph’s College Wattala in the final, played at the De Mazenod College Courts in Kandana.
OKI International School recorded a thrilling 41-31 win against the Josephians, who fought gallantly to snatch the championship.
In the quarterfinals OKI recorded a comprehensive 63-16 victory against De Mazenod College and went on to beat Maris Stella College Negombo by 63-33 in the semi-finals. The skipper of OKI International, Nimesh Kulatunga and Afzan Razik emerged as top scores for the champions. Early during the year, OKI International was placed second in the Inter-International Schools Under-13 Boys’ Basketball Championship.
