Graduate in 2016 from one of the top five comprehensive universities in Canada
SLIIT, a leader in the education arena of Information Technology in Sri Lanka, has joined hands with Memorial University, one of the top five comprehensive universities in Canada to provide students with a diploma leading to International Bachelor of Business Administration (iBBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). This diploma programme, will be conducted by Kings International Institute (KII) an associate of SLIIT. Prospective students are encouraged to meet Professor Michael Burns, the foreign representative of Memorial University, from 23rd to 26th September at the SLIIT Metro campus.
The students who have obtained at least 5 Credit Passes (Including Mathematics and English) at the G.C.E (Ordinary Level) examination (Sri Lanka/London/Cambridge) and are expecting results from the G.C.E Advanced Level examination may apply for this programme. The students with excellent results in the G.C.E. Advaced Level examination may receive exemptions up to one year from the two-year diploma. Such students have the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognized degree from a world-class university after two further years of study in Canada.
The diploma program leading to the International Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration is primarily designed to provide the student with a solid and well-rounded education in Business. The competency that the student acquires is based on the foundation laid by the core curriculum, which includes modules like Economics, English, Marketing, Organizational behavior etc.
The four-year International Bachelor of Business Administration programme is one of only four specialist international business degrees in Canada and combines the development of business skills with an understanding of the global economic and political environment. The Bachelor of Business Administration programme offers a traditional four-year North American business program that combines a broad-based foundation of general education and business skills.
