Law Teaching Excellence at CLA
View(s):CLA offers excellent tuition support for the LLB degree in Sri Lanka with small classes allowing interaction between the lecturer and the student. The lecturers at CLA are all University of London LLB qualified. They know the challenges of facing an external degree programme and are able to guide and assist students enrolled at CLA to perform at their optimum. Most of the lecturers are Masters degree (LLM) qualified and are currently practising lawyers. This gives them flexibility and depth in their teaching. They are fully proficient in the use of the University of London’s student portal, the VLE, allowing them to utilize available resources fully. This makes a student’s learning experience a more fruitful, efficient one. CLA’s tuition support programme is excellent with the lecturers paying individual attention to the students and providing easy to understand notes to supplement the study guides and textbooks prescribed by University of London.
The CLA programme offers lectures for subjects of all three years of the LLB on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, they have sessions on much needed skills like how to study, skimming and scanning, time management and presentations blended into their programme.
The University of London LLB can usually be completed in 3 years. However a graduate can complete this programme in 2 years.
