Applications invited for the Accredited Graduateship Programme in Chemistry for the 36th year
View(s):Applications are now being entertained for the very popular, low cost, globally recognized and rewarding Graduateship Programme in Chemistry conducted by the College of Chemical Sciences for the 36 th year at the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon Headquarters at Adamantane House, 341/22, Kotte Road, Welikada, Rajagiriya (near Rajagiriya post office) . Registration at early bird rates will close on 30 th September after which late fees will be payable for any vacancies that may be available. The College now produces nearly half the total number of Graduate Chemists produced in Sri Lanbka.,
Professor J N Oleap Fernando Honarary Rector of the College states in a media release that those with 3 A/L passes in Chemistry are eligible to join this programme which has so far produced 905 Graduate Chemists who are gainfully employed and/or are following post-graduate programmes leading up to PH D level in some of the best Universities in many countries including USA,Canada, UK., Australia, New Zealand etc. The programme has recently been formally accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry ,as satisfying the academic level required even for its higher Chartered Chemist designation. Students awaiting results of the A/L examination are strongly advised to apply immediately and benefit from the reduced fees presently available; they need not unnecessarily waste their time, energy, money and youth by repeating the A/L examination since they have a golden opportunity to follow a very productive programme which will enable them to pass out as Graduate Chemists within 4 years without any delay . Registrants can now opt to follow the programme either at weekends or on 3 weekdays.
