French cinema at AF Colombo
View(s):‘Ils’ (Them), a 2006 French-Romanian horror- thriller film revolving around an exiled couple directed by Xavier Palud will be screened at 3 pm on Tuesday October 1 and at 6.30 pm on October 2 at Alliance Francaise Auditorium, Colombo.

A French comedy ‘Trop belle pour toi’ (Too Beautiful for You) directed by Bertrand Blier will be screened at 3 pm on October 8 and at 6.30 pm on October 9.
A car dealer, well-to-do and with a beautiful wife, finds himself attracted to his rather plain new temporary secretary. Despite her own commitments she feels the same and the two soon embark on an affair. Though it would seem it has happened before his wife finds this particular entanglement of her husband’s very difficult to accept.
Action comedy film ‘Le Boulet’ (Dead Weight) directed by Alain Berbérian will be screened at 3 pm on October 15 and 6.30 pm on October 16.
Moltès, a prisoner, play every week the bingo (lottery). It is Reggio, the clumsy prison guard, who check his bulletin results. One day, Moltès learns that he won the jackpot: fifteen bars!!! But Reggio finds that Pauline, his nursing wife left with the winning ticket to Africa. Moltès, escapes then from the prison, leaves for Bamako to recover the ticket in question.
