Founders Day at Overseas School of Colombo
The Overseas School of Colombo (OSC), a prestigious international school in Colombo since 1957, held its Founders Day on Friday (27). About 30 teachers who have served the school for more than 20 years, were also felicitated for their dedicated service.
Head of School Areta Williams welcomed the guests.
OSC’s oldest student Armeen Fatima and youngest student Zac Campbell were among the interesting guests at Founders Day.
There were performances from Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary students. The performances were ‘Mage Podi Yaalu’ by the Kindergarten students, Dance solo by Emily Whight, two-minute melodrama by Arnav Singh, Avery Teal, Etienne Richart, Jingyi Ren and Maha Salman. Hasitha Balapatabendi performed a trombone solo, “La Rejouissance”.
The Overseas School of Colombo is an International Baccalaureate World School and serves students from 40 nationalities, from pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12.
