‘Dawn Princess’ docks in Colombo after 10 years
The luxury cruise ship ‘Dawn Princess’ of the Princess Cruise liner berthed at Colombo Harbour last week with 1934 passengers after a lapse of 10 years.
The cruise ship will sail to Malaysia and back to Sydney after a ninety day excursions in Indian and Pacific Oceans.
All passengers disembarked at the Colombo Port and were taken to Kandy, Pinnawala and Ingiriya on a mid country tea plantation tour.
Nearly 45 luxury coaches were used to transport the passengers to different destinations.
The second call of Princess Cruise’s for 2013 will be on 10 October with Ocean Princess carrying 672 passengers.
The local excursions will be handled by the tour operator Ceylon Roots Pvt Limited in collaboration with Lotus DMC India while the local sales agent for Princess Cruises is Worldlink Travels.
