Festival of Choirs 2013
View(s):Festival of Choirs, organized by the Western Music Society of Royal College, will come alive on 29th October at the Bishop’s College Auditorium fro 6.30 pm. This series of concerts is one of the first of such choral events to bring together choirs from a number of leading schools and present an evening of music to the general populace.
Throughout the years, Festival of Choirs has acquired a reputation for excellence, combining the very best of Sri Lankan talent, bringing together a blend of exceptional music and leaving the audience yearning for more. All this has been achieved whilst carving out a name for Royal College, one of talent, skill, prestige and competence.
It promises to be an eve of great choral music from pristine classics to modern favorites. Tickets are priced at Rs. 650/-, 750/-, 900/- and Rs / 500/- (balcony) The participating schools at this years festival are Royal College, Bishops College, Wesley College, Musaeus College, St. Joseph’s College, The British School and Asian International School.
The Old Royalists’ Choir will be featured as a special guest performance. Tickets are available from the 20th of October at the Bishop’s College Auditorium.
