TTEPLC Cricket champion for 2013
Talawakelle Tea Estates PLC emerged champions at the Inter-Plantations Company Cricket Sixes by beating Malwatte ValleyPlantations by13 runs in the final match on 19thOctober 2013 at the Dimbula Athletic Cricket Club Grounds Radella. Talawakelle Tea Estates PLC team displayed high standards throughout the tournament. On their way to the finals they also beat Maskeliya Plantations by 34 runsquarter finals and Hapugastenne Plantations by 8 runs in the semi-finals.
The 12th Inter Plantations Cricket sixes Tournament was organized by the Dimbula Athletic Cricket Club on 18 and 19October with 14 teams battling it out from the Plantation Companies. Sunil Poleyadda Managing Director Richard Peiries Plantations was the chief guest at this event who gave away the trophies for the winners.
