Prasantha, new Hony. Consul for Seychelles
View(s):Prasantha Lal De Alwis, President’s Counsel, has been appointed the Honorary Consul for Seychelles in Sri Lanka with effect from October 4th.
Mr. De Alwis had his secondary education at Ananda College, Colombo. He possesses a LL.B and LL.M on Law of the Sea and Human Rights from the University of Colombo. He started his legal career as a State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Department of Sri Lanka, and today practices in the appellate and Trial Courts in the area of Criminal Law.
