Norwegian luxury yacht docks into Colombo
View(s):Norwegian luxury mega yacht ‘SeaDream II’, which made its maiden call at the Colombo Port last week, offers travellers a minimum package rate of US$ 3,500 per person inclusive of most available facilities.
The package price excludes the spa, duty free store and some of the expensive wines which are available onboard. Guests also can experience water sports, fitness centre, golf simulator, mountain biking and many more interesting leisure activities. The captain decides as to where the yacht stops for a while for water sports and mountain biking depending on the weather and the conditions of the sea.
Yacht Captain Terje Willassen said, “The yacht can carry 112 passengers and a crew of about 95 members. It’s almost a personalised service a passenger would receive from the crew and a clear atmosphere is created by the crew to the guests.”
In Colombo last week, SeaDream showcased its exclusive standard of cuisine and service. Helanka Vacations Managing Director, Rohitha Mendis said, “The arrival of SeaDream Yacht to the region is an opportunity for unique holiday experiences, for the elite Sri Lankan travellers hitherto not available. We are very happy to be associated with SeaDream and are encouraged by the response we have got so far during the maiden call of SeaDream’s visit to Sri Lanka.”
