Commonwealth Festival Orchestra at MLH
View(s):For CHOGM 2013 in Sri Lanka, Mount Lavinia Hotel is regarded the ‘The Commonwealth Musicians’ Hotel’. Commonwealth Festival Orchestra is the largest-ever group of international Musicians visiting Sri Lanka as part of The Commonwealth Resounds. To give more flavour to Sri Lanka the visiting Commonwealth musicians will perform at the Empire Ballroom of the MLH on the 17th November at 7.00pm to an evening of ensemble.
Tickets are priced at LKR2000/-nett and please take note that a 25% on the dinner buffet at the Governor’s Restaurant will be on the cards for all ticket purchasers. The programme will include: Chaconne in D minor (Bach), Cantando Cello Ensemble. Directed by Dushy Perera.
