TNL Onstage wins top honours at Fashion Asia 2013
View(s):TNL Onstage clinched the award for Top Fashionable Contest of Fashion Asia 2013, at last month’s grand awards ceremony organised by Bravou in Chengdu, China, the radio station said in a statement. It was a closely contested category that included events from Malaysia, Taiwan, Cambodia, Thailand and China being featured as well.
‘TNL Onstage’ a flagship event organised by TNL Radio Network and conducted annually since 1999 saw its 13th successful season come alive this year. TNL Onstage has established itself as a platform in Sri Lanka for supporting originality and talent in its various forms, evolving each year to provide an even-bigger platform for musicians and artists of all genres and mediums to come together and display their skill and creativity.
Fashion Asia offers a platform for Asian media to identify and reward excellence, inspiring individuals in fashion and related industries, a statement from TNL Radio Network said. Fashion Asia is considered a moving power in the Asian fashion field and promotes the development of the Asian fashion industry.
According to the statement the event is considered the ‘Oscars of Fashion’, and provides ambitious and driven individuals and institutions much-needed exposure, promoting fresh talent, creating opportunities, and giving the fashion industry in Asia a boost.
