View(s): The KPMG Lions defeated the E & Y Seven Stars in the final of the Softball Day and Night Cricket Sixes tournament, conducted by the Member Events Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, at theBloomfieldgrounds recently.
Lakshitha Bandara of the KPMG Lions won the award for the Best Batsman and Rasika Fernando of E & Y Seven Stars was selected the Best Bowler.
Aruna Priyadarshana was the Man of the Series, while Pamodhinni Rathmasena was named the Woman of the Series.
The champion KPMG Lions team comprised of Rasika Fernando, Aruna Priyadarshana, Harshan Opatha, Dammika Herath, Charitha Mapalagama, Nuwan Jayarathne, Chaminda Pushpakumara and Pamodhini Rathnasena. (BM)
