DIMO powers ‘Beefy’s’ Sri Lanka Walk

Named Beefy’s Big Sri Lanka Walk, the event saw Sir Ian Botham walk 160 miles in eight days from Kilinochchi in the North to Galle in the South of Sri Lanka. His objective was to raise funds for the underprivileged children in Sri Lanka.
DIMO provided passenger and cargo transportation needs from the very first arrival to the departure of the international participants, a media release issued by DIMO revealed.
A Mercedes-Benz E-Class was used for pick-up and drop-off of all celebrities from airport, and also for their transportation needs from one hotel to the other during their short stays whilst the walk was in progress. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Passenger vehicles were used to transport the celebrities and officials of the Laureus Foundation throughout the 160 mile stretch, the company said.
