After a long time, approximately six years, a leading track and field club is to hold a road race. It is strange that this club with several 
former top athletes in their ranks have not been able to hold a sports meet or any such event. Now that the year is drawing to a close club officials have decided to conduct a road race and all eyes are on this event. It so happens that the boss of this club is quite well known in the field of sports but yet, nothing has happened as far as sports is concerned for the last six years but several officials, however, have embarked on tours!
Keeping in the dark
The happening of a key sports body was discussed at the meeting of the country’s leading law making body. The person who presented this to the august body happens to be a former sporting great. It was stated that a certain individual has been brought into this particular sport by a very high official and even the sports boss was not aware of this. Now who could be leaking such information? Your guess is as good as mine!
What are the qualifications?
A top official of a popular sports body has been confirmed in his post. Now questions have arisen as to the qualifications of this official. This has raised a furor in other sports bodies who wants to know the qualifications of this official and whether he is fit to hold such a high post.
A jeep on offer
A jeep has been offered by the boss of a sports body to get a certain individual out of this sports body. It so happens that the boss is not in favour of having this individual in this particular field and has offered this high powered vehicle to anybody who can keep him out. Nevertheless this official, who happens to be from a popular fishing town, does not want to give in and is determined to be in the sports body and bare all that the particular sport is trying to hide.
Not done Sir!
The coach of a women’s team had been heard abusing players in not so quite gentlemanly manner after a tour in South Africa. The players claim that the manager and the coach are always under the influence of liquor. Also the coach had celebrated his birthday whilst on this tour and has presented a bill for USD 86. Now players are fighting shy of being selected to make a tour of the sub-continent due to these facts.

Dubai is well known for its shopping festivals and a whole lot of people who have some connection or the other with the boss of a particular popular sport, have gone on a tour of this desert paradise with the blessings of the boss of this sport. It so happens that the wife and children of a diseased official too has gone on this tour. The boss is very keen to please his subjects, perhaps keeping in mind the fast approaching AGM, that he has footed the bill for this large contingent.
