Keerthi Gunawardane takes over as new Chairman of ICC
View(s):Sri Lanka’s Keerthi Gunawardane has been elected as the Chairman, of the International Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (ICCSL) at the annual general meeting held recently, taking over the reins from past Chairman Tissa Jayaweera.
Mr. Gunawardane is an old boy of Kingswood College, Kandy, St Thomas College Gurutalawa and Central College, Welimada, and started his own company Graphic Systems (Pvt) Ltd, and Graphic Systems International (Pvt) Ltd.
He is an Economics special graduate from the Sri Jayawardanepura University and obtained his Post Graduate qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka in the field of Business and Financial Administration.
Speaking on his appointment as Chairman of ICCSL, Mr. Gunawardane said he is deeply honoured and privileged to be the Chairman of the national body of ICC.
