Jacquie adds sparkle to CJS luxury rings
View(s):Former Miss Sri Lanka and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernando was in the country once again this week to unveil a brand 
newcollection of luxury rings by Colombo Jewellery Stores. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, CJS Managing Director Akram Cassim said that his designs were meant to evoke the whimsical charm of the Galle Fort, the heritage birthplace of CJS.
Jacquie donned a few of these intricately crafted rings at the event, saying “CJS will always be an endorsement that’s close to my heart.” The actress has been the brand’s muse and ambassador for four campaigns so far and shared that she preferred to walk the red carpet in CJS jewellery. “It helps me stand out.” While the actress hasn’t been able to take the CJS brand of elegance into her movies so far she added that she looked forward to hopefully donning the brand’s creations on the silver screen one day.
CJS also announced a partnership with national carrier SriLankan Airlines, becoming the first exclusive designer jewellery store in Sri Lanka to do so. The partnership enables CJS customers registered on the FlySmiles programme to earn one mile for every Rs. 100 spent at any CJS store.
