Commercial Bank’s e-Exchange presents exercise books to a 1000 children
View(s):Some 1000 children received exercise books for their new school term from Commercial Bank in a promotion condicted by the bank recently for its e-Exchange’ money transfer recipients.
The presentation took place at the auditorium of Commercial Bank where children living in distant areas were given the opportunity to collect their books from the Commercial Bank branches nearest to them, according to a bank statement.
Each package of books consisted of 20 exercise books of multiple sizes.
The promotion was conducted in the months of November and December 2013 for remitters of funds via Commercial Bank e-Exchange service. Customers had to SMS the names of the children together with the reference numbers of their remittances. The bank said the response it had received was overwhelming.
