Awareness programme on Industrial Safety Management
View(s):The Colombo District office of the Industrial Development Board of Ceylon (IDB) with a view to ensure the occupational safety in SME sector has organised an awareness programme on Industrial Safety Management next month.
During this programme, an introduction to Workers Compensation Ordinance, methods of ensuring industrial safety and minimizing industrial hazards and accidents will be covered by the Factory Inspecting Engineers of Department of Labor.
The participants, on successfully completing the programme, will be issued with a valid certificate while the IDB will undertake follow up services, the IDB said.
