Bellamy’s to live longer in Colombo
View(s):Howard and David Bellamy, popularly known as the ‘Bellamy Brothers’ will come alive in Colombo on Saturday, 8 February at the state of art Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. The Bellamy Brothers who have mesmerized audiences over the years with songs like ‘If I said you had a beautiful body’ and ‘lovers live longer’ which are hits at any Sri Lankan wedding.
‘Bellamy Brothers’ are the most successful duo in Country music history. The band consistently climbed into the upper reaches of the Billboard country chart during the 70’s, 80’s and even in to the 90’s. The Bellamy’s pushed the borders of Country music adding strong elements of Rock, reggae and even Rap, racking up a string of top ten singles that ran into the early 90’s.
After 90s new songs the duo remained a popular concert attraction world over.
