Nippon paints receive Singapore Green Label Certification
View(s):Nippon Paint Lanka (Pvt) Ltd said this week that two of its brands, Medifresh 3 in 1 and Weatherbond Algae Guard have been certified by the Singapore Green Label Scheme.
The two Nippon paint variants are the only paint products to be Singapore Green Label certified among those available in the local market. It is also the first step in an ongoing improvement process implemented by Nippon Paint Lanka to become a more eco-riendly producer of the highest quality interior and exterior paints, the company said in a release
The certification evaluates products through stringent standards and encourages the improvement, promotion, and development of the “ecolabelling” of products and services. Commenting on the development, Raja Hewabowala, Managing Director of Nippon Paint Lanka noted, “The certification itself is recognized globally and the fact that it is an independent review increases the products credibility significantly. We constantly strive to provide our customers with the highest quality products that are manufactured to the most stringent standards that ensure that they are environmentally friendly and safe to use. This certification is a step in the right direction for us.”
The company said Nippon Medifresh 3-in-1 has an unbeatably strong coating for the interior of any home or office. It’s easily washable and covers hairline cracks completely, while also preventing future cracks. The waterproof formula also guarantees complete protection from harmful bacteria. The company recently launched a new branding campaign across all media in Sri Lanka.
