View(s):All white and gleaming, the new PR and Saskia Fernando Gallery had its official opening last week. Labelling itself Colombo’s first true ‘Concept Store’ , it offers shoppers Indian fashion labels such as Rajesh Pratap Singh, Abraham &Thakore, Sanchita, Eka and Smallshop as well as local design labels, Touche, Salt, Maus, Khogy, Conscience, TukTuk and Stringhopper, a range of contemporary jewellery labels, and the chance to browse through some striking works of art by promising young artists in the Saskia Fernando Gallery.
Located at No.41 Horton Place, the store and gallery, part of the Paradise Road chain are a new collaboration between Annika and Saskia, daughters of Paradise Road founder Shanth Fernando.
