Apple appoints Softlogic as ‘authorised service provider’ and distributor
View(s):Global consumer electronics giant Apple has appointed the IT arm of Sri Lanka’s Softlogic as its “Authorised Service Provider” and distributor, according to a recent announcement by the local IT company.

Further, the announcement also noted; “All new Apple products including the iPod portable media players iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, iPod Touch, iPod Classic as well as MacBook notebook computers including MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are now available in major retail stores and Softlogic outlets island wide. The company also launched a dedicated Apple Service Centre in Colombo celebrating the partnership, and will be organising a total Apple Care Clinic in due course. Through the Apple Care Clinic all Apple desktop and laptop owners [gain] a free diagnosis for their devices”.
Quoted in the Softlogic Information Technologies’ announcement, its Director / Chief Executive, Roshan Rassool, commented; “Apple has always been able to create cutting-edge products and revolutionise the tech industry by solely focusing on innovation. The partnership was a result of the great demand by our customers to expand our product range so that they get to experience an even wider choice of the latest technology on offer”.
