Lanka Bell celebrates national Independence with launch of 4G connectivity
View(s):Lanka Bell this week announced the formal launch of its much-awaited 4G connectivity in Sri Lanka. Lanka Bell’s Managing Director Prasad Samarasinghe said that this was in line with a promise made last year to the company’s more than a million subscriber.
Following a very successful test run since the end of last year, Lanka Bell 4G is initially available in parts of Colombo and Greater
Colombo such as Grandpass, Kollupitiya, Maradana, Hultsdorf, Orugodawatta, Dematagoda, Nawala, Maharagama, Kadawatha, Kotahena, Mahabage, Borella, Ragama, Wattala, Kadawatha, Kottawa, Battaramulla, Peliyagoda, Crow’s Island etc. Blanket coverage for the entire Colombo city is scheduled before the forthcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year, according to a company statement.
