‘Sihina Ranghala ’- A rare treat for theatre lovers
View(s):One of the rare theatrical presentations “Sihina Rangahala” (The Theatre of Dreams) comprising five short dramas as a one show will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 7.00 pm on Saturday, February 22 at the Lionel Wendt theatre Colombo 7. Directed by Dhananjaya Karunarathne the five plays are ‘Valentine enakan’, ‘Chandrawathi samaga rathriyak’, ‘Oba Saapekshai’, ‘Duwana un dennek’ and ‘Last bus eke kathawa’.
The collection of play stars Chandani Senavirathne, Sanath Wimalasiri, Chamila Peiris, Dimuthu Chinthaka, Sulochana Weerasinghe, Susith Ishantha, Sanjeewa Dissanayake and Chamal Ranasinghe. In ‘Sihina Rangahala’ Kapila Poogalaarachchi handles the music while Chandana Aluthge controls lighting, Wasantha Poornawansha does the make up while Kosala Thotawatte, Pramodh Edirisinghe and Sachinthana Dolapihillage are in charge of stage management.
Jude Sirimal has organised ‘Sihina Rangahala’ and all seats are box planned and available at the Lionel Wendt.
