‘Siri Daladagamanaya’ begins
View(s):The film ‘Siri Daladagamanaya’ centring around the event where the Tooth Relic was brought to Sri Lanka by Prince Dantha and Princess Hemamala will be released on March 6. Starring Prasadi Samarakone and Heshan Manula as Princess Hemamala and Prince Dantha, the film also played by Jeewan Kumaratunga, Geetha Kumarasinghe. Mark Samson, Kamal Deshapriya, Udara Ratnayake, Pium Botheju, Sureni Asangika, Nilukshi Perera, Dilhani Ekanayake, Sriyantha Mendis, Wasantha Dukgannarala, Srinath Maddumage, Jayantha Athapaththu, Madumadawa Aravinda and Gayan Wickrematilake. Lucien Bulathsinghala, Haychinth Wijeratne, Chandana Wickremasinge and Anusha Damayanthi appear in guest performances in the film.
Suminda Weerasinghe K.D. Dayananda and Chandana Jayasinghe handle camera and lighting, Ajith Ramanayake and Ravindra Guruge editing, Aruna Priyantha Kaluarachchi sound control, Suneth Nandalal did the art direction and Ranga Dasanayake handle music, executive producer Nihal Sanjaya joins the production.
Scripted, screenplay written and directed by Sanath Abeysekara, the film is produced by Soma Edirisinghe for EAP Films.
