‘Rena’ opens a new horizon for young people

‘Rena’ latest tele serial on a father who started a journey to heal his own son but expands for the entire society, will be telecast on Sirasa TV at 7.30 pm on every weekday starting from Monday March 10. To a screenplay of Sanath Karunaratne, the teledrama is directed by Ranjan Prasanna and is produced by Susila Productions.
‘Rena’ stars Roshan Pilapitiya, Nilmini Tennakone, Dinakshi Priyasad, Damayanthi Fonseka, Kasun Kumanayake, Darshan Darmaraj, Raja Ganeshan, Subhasini Subramaniyam, Sampath Tennakone, Milinda Perera, Nirosha Herath, Sarath Karunaratne, Pavithra Wickremasinghe, Dev Surendara, Suleka Jayawardena, Rashi Paba Sandeepani and Ishan Mendis.
The story revolves around a professor who started an experiment to heal his son who has been affected with the untimely demise of his girlfriend. The teledrama shows how this single attempt of a father is expanded to a large number of many such young people throughout the society. The teledrama shows how a Tamil girl tries to bring new hopes to the life of a young man who is completely lost. The teleplay carries a strong message to many young people who are waiting to realise their dreams.
